Board of Directors
I run for TUD Board out of a sense of community, representing
no group. My loyalty is to the consumer, rate and tax payer,
and to a plan to save them money.
The District must plan for the water needs decades from now with a 20 year Master Water Plan
to build a reliable, efficient and secure water system to benefit the whole community.
With a degree in Aquatic Biology from UCSB, I had a 25 year career in water quality, management, treatment, and distribution. I worked 11 years on the County/TUD system and understand its operation and challenges. I was project manager on the $100 million Modesto water project and managed the system for 9 years with a multimillion dollar annual budget.
Living many years in Tuolumne County with a background in water management gives me a good sense about our water and our future needs. We are in the 21st century. As modern water managers TUD must provide a long term plan to insure all its consumers have an adequate supply of high quality water for decades to come. My objectivity, vision and experience make me uniquely qualified to do just that.
